Here's a web-exclusive article posted on EthanolProducer.com (Ethanol Producer Magazine)

"U.S. House subcommittee discusses biofuels" by Erin Voegele 6/13/2008
http://www.ethanolproducer.com/article.jsp?article_id=4322

The article follows the June 11th subcommittee's discussions on biofuels and the use of second generation feedstocks (i.e corn stalks, switch grass, wood chips, etc.), and the role biodiesel will play (e.g. produced from cooking grease, etc.). And, the committee recognized the "enormously positive impact on domestic fuel availability" that biofuels will have on the U.S. market.

Of particular interest is their statement of the important role that small business is playing in the expansion of biofuel production.

Side note: As is typical with EthanolProducer.com web site, the July issue of  Ethanol Producer Magazine in digital format is available online (as are all of the past 2008 issues of Ethanol Producers Magazine). This is an excellent resource for anyone involved with or following the ethanol & biofuels industry. http://www.ethanolproducer.com/digitaleditions.jsp
